Cricket East

Cricket East's Super 1s players enjoyed a memorable summer of festival cricket, recording two unbeaten performances against teams from across the region.

The squad were crowned Surrey Super 1s Festival champions at Windlesham Cricket Club after winning all three of their matches. They followed that achievement with another clean sweep at the Worcestershire Super 1s Festival, completing the day without defeat.

Both results reflected an excellent team effort, with players supporting one another and demonstrating their skills, confidence and enjoyment throughout the competitions. Congratulations to everyone who represented Cricket East, along with the coaches, volunteers and families who helped make both weekends possible.

Super 1s gives young people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy regular coaching and competitive cricket in an inclusive and supportive environment. The programme helps participants develop their cricket skills while building confidence, friendships and independence.
