Cricket East

Cricket East is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Allan as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ryan joined the organisation on Thursday 3 September 2026.

Ryan brings broad experience across sport, commercial development, partnerships, governance and community organisations. Most recently, he served as Commercial and Marketing Director at Berkshire Cricket, where his work included developing partnerships, supporting organisational growth and strengthening the profile of cricket across the county.

He is also the founder and President of the England Men's and Mixed Netball Association, where he has helped lead significant growth in participation, membership, competitions and national programmes. This experience brings a strong understanding of volunteer-led sport and the importance of creating opportunities for people from different communities to take part.

As Chief Executive, Ryan will work closely with the Cricket East Board, staff, clubs, leagues, schools and partners to support cricket across Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire. His early focus will include listening to stakeholders, understanding the opportunities and challenges across the area and helping to shape the organisation's next stage of development.

Cricket East looks forward to working with Ryan as the organisation continues to grow and support the game across both counties.
