Safeguarding Level 2 – SGL2 (previously Safeguarding for Specific Roles)
Following feedback from the Cricket network and an ECB internal review, the Cricket Regulator (previously ECB Safeguarding Team) have taken the decision to update and revamp the previous Safeguarding for Specialist Roles (SSR) course.
We are pleased to say there is a new live course -Safeguarding Level 2 – SGL2. This is a 1-hour interactive online course with an assessment for everyone in a specialist role.
Please don’t be concerned about the ‘Level 2’ title, there is no need to attend a level 1 course. Safeguarding Level 1 – SGL1 (previously ECB Safeguarding Induction)
Safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility, and the new course aims to provide everyone in cricket with knowledge and advice to create a safe environment and respond appropriately to concerns.
Please note, if you already have an ECB e-learning account, you can select and access the content immediately, If you do not have an ECB e-learning account, then once registered for a course, you will be able to create an account where you will access the learning module..
