Is your CSO Compliant?
Training for a Club Safeguarding Officer comprises of THREE elements:
- ECB Safe Hands for Club Safeguarding Officers (Certificate dated within the last 3 years)
- ECB Safeguarding Young Cricketers (SYC) online module (Certificate dated within the last 3 years)
- Valid/Current ECB DBS Check (Certificate dated within the last 3 years)
All 3 elements must all be in date at the same time for your club's CSO to be complaint. The ECB Safe Hands Workshop and Safeguarding Course are two different things to avoid any confusion.
