Details of the observation process for the Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire County Women’s Cricket team
We are excited to share details of the observation process for the Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire County Women’s Cricket team, who will compete in year two of Tier 3 ECB competitions in 2026.
Observations are free of charge and will run over two weekends:
• Saturday 1st November, 9:30am–12:30pm, Wixams Academy
• Saturday 8th November, 9:30am–12:30pm, Wixams Academy
Address: Wixams Academy, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK42 6BA.
Following the observation period, an initial squad will be selected to attend winter training: 5 weeks before Christmas, and 12 weeks from January through to March. As the women’s Tier system is still developing, squad composition may evolve across the winter and summer, with movement between Tiers and potential loan opportunities.
As a combined county side, we are proud to offer access to a state-of-the-art, centrally located training facility at Wixams Academy. Our four-coach team brings extensive experience and uses a modern, player-centred approach to support both individual and team development within a high-performance environment. Training will focus on technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the game.
