Cricket East provide the Chance to Shine programme for schools across Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire, Chance to Shine is a national charity that aims to give all children the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket. Cricket can help to develop the personal, social and physical skills of the almost 600,000 children that they work with every year.
We allocate our specialist coaches to go into schools to deliver this programme for 6 weeks over a half term, the programme is completely free and is not only about coaching children but also about helping teachers to hopefully be confident enough to teach cricket either at school, in a club or even just a casual environment.

The programme is delivered to primary schools by fully qualified coaches, who are DBS verified, have first aid training and safeguard training. They also have a love for the sport and want to see it grow from grassroots.
