Launched in 2017, All Stars Cricket is a nationwide programme that is designed to inspire five- to eight-year-olds to take up cricket and provide a great first experience of the game.
Putting fun right at the centre of this experience, All Stars Cricket aims to instil children with a lifelong love of our sport. We want today's kids to remain in cricket for the long-term – whether that’s as players, volunteers, officials or spectators.
Programme features:
- For all boys and girls aged five to eight
- Delivered nationwide at over 2,000 centres
- Eight one-hour sessions, held over eight weeks
- Emphasis on fun and being active
- Focus on developing your child's movement skills
- Safe and fully accredited
- Easy online registration
Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies including a cricket bat, ball, activity book, personalised shirt and cap all sent straight to your door.
They will then start an eight-week programme at their local participating centre, with the emphasis placed firmly on learning how to play the game in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. Children will also learn the social development skills that team sport brings. Each session is developed to equip children with the basic skills they need to develop a lifelong love of cricket.
