Working with people with sensory impairments is hugely important to us. People who have visual impairment or hearing loss are often isolated due to their conditions.
For us, working with sensory groups is very rewarding and the outcomes are immense.
During December 2017, Cricket East helped to provide cricket opportunities to a number of young people with visual or hearing impairments in a two-day sports festival in Bedford.
Elsewhere across the region, we are building relationships with charities and organisations that specialise in helping people with sensory issues. In that way, we can create a sustainable legacy to provide cricket for these fantastic groups of people.
